I found safety and security in my mother’s arms as a child. I found all the answers to all my questions on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. I learned about danger on The Roadrunner Show. As a child, I found a place to hide and just be. Unfortunately, those days are long past, and I sought my God place between the rows of tomatoes and squash. I found my refuge, my quiet place where God and I could commune.

The World’s Best Vegetable – for people who eat bad food
I like cheeseburgers and chocolate ice cream, salty French fries and icy cold Cokes. I enjoy what most folks would call “bad food.” Bad food in the sense that it might not be so good for me. But, bad food tastes good, so most of us eat it and ignore the dangers to our health.

Flatonia smokes Bloomington; boasts impressive record
The Flatonia High School baseball team defeated their recent opponent Bloomington in a two game series by scores of 19-0 and 18-0 and have an overall record of 11-3 with a 6-1 record in District 29-2A. Big hitters in this series were Keyshaun Green, Beck Zimmerman, Cale Janecka, and Dayton Cliffe. Cliffe led the team with six RBI’s in the first game, then Janecka was the head honcho in the second game with four RBI’s.
