Garwood VFD holds annual stew dinner
NADA – The Nada Community Center in Nada jumped to life on Feb. 4, when the Garwood Volunteer Fire Department lined up the bowls of stew and cornbread. People, far and wide, came to taste some of the best stew around and to fellowship and support a worthwhile cause.

RESS COLUMBUS – Colorado County Commissioners Court met again for the second regular meeting of the year on Monday, Jan. 23. The court moved smoothly through the agenda items with only a few lingering discussions. Mark Hutton from Fidlar Technologies gave a pre sentation and answered ques- tions regarding a Property Fraud Alert Services Agreement for the County Clerk's Office. This vital records notification system will help land and property owners' awareness of any record filed in their name with the county clerk.
