COLUMBUS - The Co - lumbus group of Seniors To gether was treated to a special delight of barbecue brisket during its last meeting on Feb.7 in Columbus. Brent Leftwich takes the brisket off the pit. Dr. Mazie Leftwich made homemade sauce on the stove. A crowd of over 60 people and 11 volunteers enjoyed the barbecue along with buttered potatoes, coleslaw and desserts galore. Seniors Together-Co - lumbus meets every first and third Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Lighthouse Fel - lowship Hall of St. Paul Luther - an Church in Columbus. FLATONIA – The Flatonia High School boy’s basketball team defended home court Feb. 6 at Bulldogs Gym by beating Schulenburg High School with a final score of 54-49.
