WEIMAR — Seventeen horses were seized on Monday morning in Weimar by Colorado County Sheriff’s Office authorities. The horses were on approximately 4.1 acres of land behind 1001 N. Center St. in Weimar. Deputies first responded to the property on Jan. 17 after receiving several complaints the horses were not being fed.
