COVID-19 testing at Colorado Co. Fairgrounds
COLUMBUS — Chuck Rogers, Emergency Management Coordinator for Colorado County Office of Emergency Management received notification that the Columbus Community Hospital Lab had a positive lab result on Monday afternoon. The test was dated May 1.
As of press time there were no specifics on the patient or conditions surrounding the reason for the test.
Rogers has not received notification from DSHS, so he stated this is preliminary and not confirmed.
This brings the Colorado County cases to 11, but only one active with 10 recoveries and 120 negatives.
On April 30, County Health Authority, Dr. Molina, received the preliminary results from the COVID-19 testing that took place at the Colorado County Fairgrounds in Columbus on April 25.
