ROUND ROCK – The Fayetteville baseball team made it to another state title game at Dell Diamond, but went down in the 2024 UIL Class 1A State Semifinal championship game. Schulenburg High School senior Meredith Magliolo recently made the 2023-2024 track & field 1-4A Legacy All-Star Selec tions list after another dominant season and not only making it to the state tournament, but medaling once again. Flatonia sophomore Summer Sodek can do just about anything with a ball in her hand and she recently proved it by winning this year's STBA (Small Town Basketball Asso - ciation) Multi-Sport Athlete of the Year award. Sodek plays basketball, volleyball, and runs track at Flatonia and has put up dazzling numbers ever since she stepped foot on school grounds.
