Firefighters are looking to the skies for much-needed rain this week as crews continue battling wildfires across the state. Fires reported Sunday by the Texas A&M Forest Service were being fought in Brown, Taylor, Wilbarger, Llano, Schleicher and San Saba counties.
There has always been a tug of war between science and the Bible. Scientists agree that we need four essential elements to survive and thrive - water, air, food and light. If scientists agree on that, they should look at what the Bible tells us about Jesus. Jesus is the source of living water (water), the breath of life (air), the bread of life (food) and the light of the world (light). So, science IS proper; we need Jesus to live!

The latest U.S. Census of Agriculture, released in 2017, shows over 36% of American farmers and ranchers are women. And in Texas, there are 156,233 female farmers and ranchers.
