Caught between the past, present and future

Caught between the past, present and future

This past Easter was kind of an eye-opener for me. Well, I suppose I’ve had a number of these moments of clarity only to become hazy at best. This past Easter Sunday brought together several generations. My 94-year-old dad, down to our five-year-old grandson, was present. A stark contrast to those who were not present was family that has gone on to eternal life. But, looking around at the smiling faces and the laughing and giggling (and that is just the adults) causes one to pause and ponder what life is all about.
