Running as fast as I can walk

Running as fast as I can walk

I never was much of a runner. Ever. My legs are short and my stride is shorter. It looks like I am running in one spot as fast as possible when I run. I look like a gerbil running on its exercise wheel. No one ever picked me to be on their team because I can steal second base on a wind-up or sprint to the finish line in a relay race. The one time I tried to run not too long ago, I pulled a hamstring. To this day, I do a brisk walk when I decide to exercise.
